Cauldron, as its name sounds, is a extremely volcanic planet. It is covered in volcanoes and lava that flows like rivers. The volcanoes do release dangerous gas and dust into the atmosphere. So it is necessary to wear a breathing apparatus if spending long times on the surface. The lava of the planet is full with a mesh of valuable metals and minerals. It has been inhabited by the keliouxians who have constructed large mining facilities and ship building yards. They cast the metal straight from the lava that flows out of the volcanoes.
